Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance to align with client objectives.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing resources, supervising craft teams and subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on site. Travel across states is expected as projects require.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or a similar role.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation, civil or wireless construction a plus.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations
• Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules
• Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects
• Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project
• Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations
• Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team
• Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff
