Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects across North America. You will manage day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, and mentor team members to deliver on time and within budget.

Travel across multiple states on a rotation is required; the role emphasizes safety, quality, coordination with subcontractors, and proactive problem solving to meet client needs and project goals.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues.

Responsibilities

• Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations
• Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules
• Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects
• Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project
• Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations
• Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team
• Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff
