Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects across North America. You will manage day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, and mentor colleagues.

This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving in a fast-paced field environment. You will drive safety programs, ensure compliance with plans and codes, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers while

Qualifications

Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or similar role.
Knowledge of underground fiber installation, civil or wireless construction is a plus.
Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline is an asset.
Experience with construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current practices.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee incident investigations.
Review and update construction schedules; address delays and contribute to timelines.
Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
Track financial aspects of the project and report on progress.
Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team; mentor staff.
