Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance on-site.

You will anticipate client needs, provide practical solutions, share expertise, and mentor colleagues while ensuring safety and quality in all work across North America.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Telecommunications Construction Superintendent experience.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation and civil or wireless construction is a plus.
• Post-secondary education in Construction or Engineering is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and building codes.
• Develop Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules; address delays and contribute to schedules.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Track financial aspects and reporting for the project.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
