Parkside Utility Construction is seeking a Telecom Manager to organize, direct, and supervise construction activities for a defined area, including subcontractor compliance and safety controls. You will coordinate scheduling and communication, acting as a liaison to Operations for production, subcontracting, progress, and delays.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvement, and effective stakeholder engagement to ensure quality and timeliness in project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of equipment and practices related to the telecom industry.
• General technical knowledge of FTTH architectures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, project managers and subcontractors.
• Proven self-motivation, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the assigned Construction Division, including operations, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensures safety requirements and DOT compliance in coordination with EHS.
• Maintains regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identifies and implements process improvements for efficient service delivery.
• Monitors KPIs and maintains productivity and profitability across the division.
• Coordinates staff and subcontractor schedules to meet production deadlines safely.
• Collaborates with Project Management for seamless handoffs and information flow.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of contracts, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Assists in onboarding subcontractors and staffing aligned with demand.
