Job summary

Star Construction LLC seeks a Telecom Manager to organize, direct, and supervise construction activities in a defined region, ensuring subcontractor compliance and project safety controls. You will coordinate scheduling and communications and act as a liaison on production, subcontracting, progress and delays.

The role requires leadership of field crews, strong vendor management, and enforcing contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Telecommunications industry experience or combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define region/area of operation and oversee daily production including supervision of superintendents, foremen, and crews.
• Assist with employee development, growth, and performance planning.
• Ensure customer requests and issues are handled professionally and timely within guidelines.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure ethical, value-based collaborations.
• Oversee subcontractor agreements and pricing with final approvals as required.
• Assist with hiring, coaching, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Lead evaluation activities for major suppliers of materials and subcontract services.
• Enforce contract terms and company policies with subcontractors.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals and maintain business continuity.
