Job summary

Star Construction LLC is seeking a Telecom Manager to organize, direct, and supervise construction activities for a defined region. You will coordinate scheduling, ensure subcontractor compliance, and maintain project safety and controls, reporting to the Sr Manager Telecom and VP Operations.

You will manage daily production, guide field teams, and liaison with internal stakeholders to address progress, delays, and contractual obligations, while promoting a culture of safety and quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management with 3–5 years telecom experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret safety rules and manuals; strong communication.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a defined area/region, directing daily production and supervising crews.
• Develop and coach staff, supporting growth and performance planning.
• Ensure timely handling of customer requests within guidelines.
• Manage vendors and sub-contracts with approved pricing and contracts.
• Lead hiring, coaching, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee major suppliers of material and subcontract services for evaluation.
• Enforce contract terms and company policies with subs.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet corporate goals.
• Perform other managerial tasks as assigned.
