Job summary

Star Construction seeks a Telecom Manager to organize, direct, and supervise regional construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring project safety, scheduling, and communication. You’ll lead a cross-functional team and liaise with senior leadership to optimize production and meet client expectations.

The role covers hiring, performance planning, and vendor management within a hybrid working environment, requiring strong communication and leadership across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or project management field and 3–5 years in telecom.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production for a defined region including supervision of crews and foremen.
• Develop and execute area-specific workforce development and performance plans.
• Address customer requests professionally and timely per guidelines.
• Manage vendor relationships with ethical standards and solid business practices.
• Approve sub-contractor and material vendor contracts with senior management.
• Assist with hiring, coaching, onboarding and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Bi-annual evaluation of major material and sub-contract suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet goals and ensure continuity.
• Perform other managerial tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
