Job summary

Smartlink is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of telecom site construction, from design through final completion. You will lead on-site teams, ensure adherence to quality standards, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors to meet scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on experience in telecommunication construction, including civil and electrical scopes.
• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of leasing processes, construction laws and ordinances.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and remediation procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and reports.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of telecom site construction from design to completion.
• Lead on-site construction teams and ensure quality and safety.
• Review drawings, coordinate utilities, and conduct site walks.
• Select contractors and manage financial processes and procurement.
• Maintain project records and client-facing databases.
• Coordinate changes and train teams on updated designs and specs.
• Coordinate with vendors and generate purchase orders.
• Handoff between contractors and real-estate team.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on compliant strategies.
• Develop BOMs and manage procurement for timely delivery.
• Represent the customer in local meetings and update leadership.
• Support process design and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold professional and company standards.
