Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to setup and manage Revit BIM models, coordinating with telecom leads to deliver fully coordinated 3D models across disciplines. The role involves producing 2D drawings and ensuring clash-free deliverables in line with Jacobs standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Revit design within telecom systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Hybrid work model is offered in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 3 years of Revit design experience
• At least 2 years of telecommunications design experience
• Growing understanding of codes and standards in design decisions
• Familiar with design and construction specifications and their function
• Experience following client design and modeling standards
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new things

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads
• Produce construction drawings and 3D models across multiple design disciplines
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to deliver clash-free models
• Follow Jacobs design standards and client BIM requirements
