Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to join our telecom design team. You will set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads and project teams to produce coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings.

Using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, you will translate design intent into constructible deliverables while following Jacobs and client BIM standards. Strong attention to detail and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Revit design experience.
• At least 2 years of telecom systems design experience.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards that shape design decisions.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline BIM leads and project teams.
• Create and manage content towards fully coordinated 3D models across design disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings.
• Ensure clash-free models and adherence to BIM standards.
