Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to join a fast-paced design team. You will set up and manage Revit BIM models, coordinate with discipline leads, and produce coordinated 3D content and 2D drawings for data center and telecom projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years Revit experience and 2+ years in telecom design, with a strong understanding of codes, standards, and client standards. Hybrid work and opportunities across U.S. offices are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Revit design experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction.
• Understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Create and manage content towards fully coordinated 3D models across all disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings in alignment with Jacobs standards.
• Collaborate with designers, architects and engineers to deliver constructable deliverables including clash-free models.
