Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Telecommunications BIM Designer to set up and manage Revit BIM models for telecom projects, coordinating with discipline leads and team members. You will use Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to produce 3D models and 2D drawings across disciplines.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers to turn design intent into constructable deliverables while adhering to Jacobs and client BIM standards. A strong eye for detail and multi-tasking is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Revit design experience.
• 2+ years in telecommunications systems design and construction.
• Understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with telecom leads.
• Create and manage content toward fully coordinated 3D models across design disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and engineers to turn design intent into constructable deliverables.
