Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to join a fast-paced, collaborative telecom design team. You will set up and manage Revit BIM models, coordinating with discipline leads and teammates to produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings.

You will work under telecom discipline leads, applying Jacobs and client BIM standards, and contribute to clash-free deliverables across C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L design streams.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Revit design and modeling workflows.
• Experience following client BIM standards and engineering discipline coordination.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam markup software and project documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to estimate work effort from mark-ups and direction.
• Understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads.
• Create and maintain 3D models across design disciplines and generate 2D construction drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure clash-free deliverables.
• Follow Jacobs design methods and standards to reflect design intent in deliverables.
