Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Technology Learning Specialist to lead the firm’s training program for desktop applications, its structure and design. The role supports new hires and existing staff across our offices with a flexible hybrid (KattenFlex) arrangement.

The position requires creating instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced training, and developing engaging e-learning content with Camtasia for the firm’s LMS. Strong writing and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of training experience in a large law firm or corporate environment.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to produce training manuals and quick reference guides.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with document management systems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-hire and staff training on core applications and systems.
• Develop training courses, assessments, and materials using instructional design principles.
• Create in-house e-learning content including screen recordings and videos.
• Coordinate with Help Desk, HR, and practice groups to identify training needs.
• Maintain LMS content and ensure curriculum consistency across offices.
• Assist in training across multiple offices and during major upgrades.
