Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Technology Learning Specialist in a hybrid capacity to lead training on core desktop applications, develop effective e-learning assets, and manage the LMS across offices in multiple locations including Dallas.

You will craft instructional content, scripts, and reference materials, produce Camtasia videos, and collaborate with IT and HR to ensure consistent curricula firm-wide.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent and two or more years technical training experience specifically in developing, implementing, and conducting applications training pertaining to a large practice law firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be quality and results oriented with excellent writing skills and substantial experience in writing technical documentation (e.g., training manuals, quick reference guides, etc.). Strong conceptual understanding of desktop applications and MOS Certificate preferred.
• Computer proficient with advanced technical and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications; familiarity with document management systems and related firm tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training of new employees and current staff on desktop applications and training structures.
• Develop training courses to meet identified needs and coordinate with office administrators and practice group leaders.
• Create in-house e-learning content including screen recordings, tutorials, videos, simulations, and other digital resources.
• Design, develop, and maintain in-house e-learning content and transcripts for the firm's LMS.
• Coordinate with Help Desk to maintain application reference materials and assist in training for other offices.
• Deliver video conference training sessions and manage LMS calendars and content.
