Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Technology Learning Specialist to lead the firm’s desktop applications training program across multiple offices, including Los Angeles. The role covers design, delivery, and maintenance of training materials, e-learning content, and videos, with hybrid on-site and remote work (KattenFlex).

You will collaborate with IT, HR, and practice groups to assess training needs, develop objectives, and deliver sessions for new hires and ongoing staff, ensuring

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with two+ years in technical training for a large law firm.
• Excellent writing skills and experience in writing technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and document formatting.
• Ability to create in-house e-learning content and training materials.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse users.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-hire training on core applications and systems.
• Coordinate with offices and HR to determine training needs.
• Develop learning objectives, course outlines, exercises, and assessments.
• Deliver training for upgrades and ensure curriculum consistency.
• Create and maintain training manuals and e-learning content.
• Develop videos and LMS content using Camtasia or equivalents.
• Assist with LMS management and training for other offices.
• Evaluate training materials and stay current with tools.
