Job summary

PROCON, a leading design-build firm in New Hampshire, is seeking a Technology Support Technician to join the expanding IT team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience supporting technology across the office and active construction sites.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, deploy devices, and assist with onboarding while learning from experienced IT professionals in a dynamic, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in IT support or related role; internship counts.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and common business apps.
• Basic networking, Wi‑Fi, and connectivity knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and a eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a can‑do attitude.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Team player who supports employees on site and in the office.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems or device imaging is a plus.
• Exposure to construction or multi‑site tech support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first IT support contact via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, M365, mobile, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding: accounts, passwords, access requests.
• Support technology needs at construction sites: workstations, printers, wireless, cameras.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory and documentation.
• Educate employees on new technologies and IT security best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to tackle complex issues and grow skills.
