Job summary

McDonald’s Global Technology is seeking a Technology Support Supervisor to lead daily technology operations across MHQ labs and multiple production restaurant locations, ensuring stability and continuous improvement of services.

The role partners with Engineering, Product, Operations, QA, Support, and external vendors to deliver high-quality technology initiatives focused on reliability and restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology operations, engineering, QA, or technical support.
• Understanding of software delivery lifecycles from development to production support.
• Knowledge of Quick Service Restaurant technologies (POS, Kiosk, Printers).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities for complex production issues.
• Ability to manage vendors, service providers, and performance expectations.
• Ability to communicate with engineers, operations, stakeholders, vendors, and leaders.
• Ability to influence outcomes across teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, upgrades, and tech transformations.
• Lead global technology initiatives, ensuring timelines, scope, quality, and requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, vendors, and support to drive incident resolution.
• Set expectations for test planning, execution, defects, regression testing, and release validation.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and reporting.
• Ensure lab environments accurately reflect restaurant tech configurations for development and testing.
• Develop plans for evolving lab capabilities as tech platforms change.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus across distributed teams.
