Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Technology Success Engineer to own client environments from a technical perspective. You will proactively assess IT environments, optimize infrastructure, identify security risks, and ensure technologies remain secure and reliable for a portfolio of managed services clients.

Regular onsite visits, collaboration with project engineers and vCIOs, and a focus on proactive consulting set this role apart from reactive support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MSP, Systems Administration, Network Administration, or Infrastructure Support experience.
• Experience supporting multiple client environments.
• Strong networking knowledge including: Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Wireless, Switching, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
• Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Windows Server administration.
• Active Directory and Group Policy experience.
• Experience with endpoint security solutions.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned client environments and drive proactive infrastructure improvements.
• Perform scheduled onsite infrastructure assessments and document findings.
• Identify risks and opportunities for security, reliability, and efficiency enhancements.
• Collaborate with project engineers, service desk, and vCIOs to map long-term technology roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot servers, workstations, networking gear, and cloud services; implement configurations.
• Maintain and update documentation, diagrams, credentials, and procedures.
