Job summary

Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) is seeking a Manager Technology to lead member-facing software delivery and to drive modernization across Cloud, Data, API, and DevOps initiatives. You will guide architecture decisions, shape roadmaps, and foster a culture of agile delivery and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and data teams, and advocate for responsible AI adoption while balancing ambitious goals with realistic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience leading technology teams.
• 4 years of IT experience with full stack application design and development (Angular/React/Java Spring Boot/Node.js).

Responsibilities

• Lead software developers, contractors, and technology partners delivering member-facing applications.
• Drive high-impact initiatives like Credit Line Increase and Retail MAX.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering quality, agility, and learning.
• Maintain technical credibility with architecture, APIs, and code issues.
• Translate demand into commitments and protect Agile/Scrum teams.
• Advance CI/CD, automation, and modern architecture practices.
