Job summary

Bibliotech PT in Bexar County seeks a part-time Technical Center Assistant to provide customer support for center hardware and software, help maintain study spaces, and support events and reservations. You will assist patrons, conduct tours, and deliver educational programs under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with related coursework or experience, strong communication, and basic troubleshooting skills. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED with related coursework or experience.
• Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheets, databases; basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to diverse patrons.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the center and maintain study spaces.
• Assist patrons with hardware/software usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide library center tours and educational presentations.
• Support event setup/breakdown and center reservations.
• Answer phones and respond to general inquiries.
• Maintain supplies and perform other duties as required.
