Job summary

Bexar County seeks a Court Technology Support Specialist to provide complex tech support for courtroom A/V and computer systems. You will install and maintain equipment, diagnose network and software issues, and help determine equipment needs and purchases.

Responsibilities include leading assigned projects, coordinating A/V use in courtrooms, and responding to after-hours calls. Some travel within the county and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3 years in computer networks or related field.
• Strong knowledge of LAN software and electronics basics.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose hardware/software needs.
• Ability to travel to remote sites within the county; valid license.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain A/V equipment in courtrooms.
• Diagnose microcomputer, network and application software issues.
• Assess equipment needs and prepare specifications for purchases.
• Lead projects and maintain inventory of hardware/software.
• Respond to after-hours calls relating to courtroom technology.
