Job summary

Bexar County PA is seeking a Court Technology Support Specialist to provide comprehensive AV and IT support for courtrooms and related offices. The role installs, services, and maintains A/V gear, computers, and network hardware, and leads equipment projects.

You will respond to after-hour calls and help determine equipment needs and upgrades. The position requires strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills, supervisory readiness for projects, and willingness to travel within Bexar

Qualifications

Requires an associate degree or relevant technical program plus 3 years of computer network experience.
Knowledge of LAN software packages, electronics, and safety standards.
Ability to diagnose and repair AV and network equipment.
Effective communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains Audio Visual equipment in courtrooms (e.g., recording devices, microphones, video conferencing, surveillance gear).
Performs diagnostic tests on microcomputers, network systems and application software; evaluates hardware/software for compatibility.
Maintains inventory and coordinates use of AV equipment; leads projects and prepares reports.
