Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a part-time PT Specialist III to support campus library operations, assist students, staff and visitors with computer labs and reference needs.

You will administer TSI and online exams, create Student IDs, check in/out books and videos, and direct patrons to resources. Responsibilities include managing mail, supplies and daily office tasks in the Cypress Center at Katy, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Patient and detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer TSI and online exams.
• Provide computer lab assistance to students, staff and general public.
• Provide testing instructions/information to students and faculty in person, by e-mail, and by phone.
• Operate a PC, printer, photocopier and scanner.
• Create Student ID cards.
• Direct students to library resource materials and open computer lab.
• Check in/out books and videos for students.
• Maintain supplies and forms needed for daily operation.
