Austin Community College seeks an Assistant II - TLED Computer Centers (Hourly) at Riverside Campus to support students in a busy lab. You will respond to inquiries, provide basic tech help, and assist with check-out of technology like iPads and cameras, while maintaining FERPA compliance and privacy.

This role requires strong customer service, reliable scheduling, and the ability to multitask across phone, chat, and email.

Formación

• Previous customer service experience.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists students, faculty, and staff with technical issues in the Computer Center.
• Promptly answers technical questions and refers non-technical questions to the appropriate departments.
• Coordinates second level requests when special access is required to resolve inquiries.
• Adheres to FERPA and other privacy regulations.
• Provides feedback on frequent support requests for training opportunities.
• Communicates with internal departments.
• Checks out technology to students, faculty, and staff (e.g., iPads, calculators, webcams).
• Enters data and maintains files and logs using tracking systems.
• May serve as a technical resource for computer hardware and software.
