Job summary

Eastland Food is seeking an outgoing Human Resources Officer (Technical Training and Safety Officer) to build a strong training culture and manage safety programs. You will collaborate with Operations to design and deliver on-the-job training, identify skill gaps, and create comprehensive training materials.

You will also lead safety initiatives, develop policies, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Identify hazards and assess risks in the workplace.
• Proficiency in conducting training sessions and developing training materials.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in safety management and/or training is a plus.
• Bilingual is preferred (English, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese)
• BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field; further training will be a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain a strong training culture within the organization.
• Develop and execute training plans with Operations.
• Identify training needs and skill gaps among Warehouse Associates.
• Create, update, and maintain technical training materials (manuals, presentations, online modules).
• Facilitate training sessions with clear instruction and ongoing support.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
• Provide onboarding overview of operations processes to new employees.
• Identify, assess, and control workplace hazards; develop safety policies and programs.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
