Job summary

Hickory Foods is seeking a Safety and Training Coordinator to direct the company's safety program, update written plans, conduct hazard assessments, and support regulatory compliance. You will lead training, oversee incident investigations, and ensure OSHA compliance in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with several years of EHS experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to implement preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and minimum 4 years EHS experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety program development.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates safety program activities.
• Updates written safety program and risk assessments.
• Plans and conducts employee safety training.
• Investigates accidents and supports workers' comp claims.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
• Maintains OSHA reporting logs and records.
