Eastland Food Corporation is seeking an outgoing and driven Human Resources Officer (Technical Training and Safety Officer) to join our team in Maryland. You will partner with Operations to design and deliver technical training, update materials, and onboard new staff, ensuring practical, hands-on guidance.

You will lead safety program development, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvements, while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and risks.
• Proficiency in conducting training sessions and developing training materials.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in safety management and/or training is a plus.
• Bilingual is preferred (English, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese)
• BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field; further training will be a plus

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with the Operations team to develop and execute training plans and on-the-job training programs.
• Identify training needs and skill gaps among Warehouse Associates and propose effective solutions to address them.
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online learning modules.
• Facilitate training sessions by providing clear instruction, hands-on guidance, and ongoing support to employees at all levels.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, and implement continuous improvements as needed.
• Provide an overview of the operations process to all new employees during onboarding.
• Identify, assess, and proactively control workplace hazards and risks to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Champion and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization by fostering awareness, accountability, and proactive risk management.
