Job summary

Safe Air Technology in Baton Rouge is seeking a Safety & Training Coordinator to help develop safety programs and coordinate on-site training across the manufacturing floor. This role requires hands-on involvement and collaboration with the Safety Manager to identify opportunities for safer operations.

You will create engaging training materials, manage safety records, conduct inspections, and assist with incident investigations while tracking training progression in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable moving between office and manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and formatting safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Create engaging PowerPoint presentations, handouts, quizzes, and employee training documents.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Conduct routine safety inspections throughout the facility.
• Identify unsafe conditions and communicate findings to the Safety Manager.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate employee safety orientations and ongoing training.
• Track training completion and maintain compliance records.
• Prepare reports and safety-related documents.
• Maintain SDS books and safety bulletin boards.
