Job summary

Franklin Fitch in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Technical Support Technician to join a market-leading MSP. You will provide L1/L2 IT support across Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivity, and contribute to data-centre operations.

You'll work with enterprise technologies including Cisco, Arista, and HPE on servers, switches, and network infrastructure while gaining exposure to data-centre deployments, replacements, and documentation in a fast-paced client environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking, or a related technical environment.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and LAN/WAN concepts.
• Comfort with Windows, Microsoft 365, servers, switches, or enterprise hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support across Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, switches, networking equipment, and physical infrastructure.
• Carry out hands-on data-centre work, including racking, stacking, hardware replacements, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and network infrastructure issues.
• Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Work alongside senior engineers on larger infrastructure projects and client environments.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow established processes.

My client, who is market-leading MSP, is looking for an Infrastructure Support / Network Technician to join a growing technology services organization supporting enterprise clients across the financial services sector. You'll work across IT support, networking, servers, and physical infrastructure, with plenty of hands-on exposure in data-centre and client environments. It's a great opportunity for a technically curious IT professional to broaden their skill set and work with enterprise technologies including Cisco, Arista, and HPE.

What you'll do:
