Job summary

Franklin Fitch in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Technical Support Technician to join a market-leading MSP. You will provide L1/L2 IT support across Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivity, and contribute to data-centre operations.

You'll work with enterprise technologies including Cisco, Arista, and HPE on servers, switches, and network infrastructure while gaining exposure to data-centre deployments, replacements, and documentation in a fast-paced client environment.

Qualifications

Experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking, or a related technical environment.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and LAN/WAN concepts.
Comfort with Windows, Microsoft 365, servers, switches, or enterprise hardware.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 support across Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivity.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, switches, networking equipment, and physical infrastructure.
Carry out hands-on data-centre work, including racking, stacking, hardware replacements, and cabling.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and network infrastructure issues.
Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
Work alongside senior engineers on larger infrastructure projects and client environments.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow established processes.
