Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist with complex, time-sensitive issues, including escalations, site downtime, remote troubleshooting, and dispatching to field technicians. You will work on ES 1.1x upgrades and resolve cases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of BD products, Windows OS, and hospital IT environments, with a focus on delivering timely, high-quality service and maintaining data integrity across Salesforce and other systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
2+ years SQL experience; ability to write queries and analyze SQL data.
CompTIA A+ or N+ preferred; strong Windows/Linux IT familiarity.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x Channel.
Document case notes clearly with customer-focused communication.
Identify trends and assist in remediation and troubleshooting of ES 1.1x issues.
Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x upgrades and participate in cross-functional team efforts.
