Job summary

Global Payments is hiring a Technical Support Associate to join our global IT support team. You will assist end users with desktop hardware and software, configure and image devices, manage AD accounts, and resolve incidents via the ITSM system to restore IT services quickly.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience providing end-user support. Enterprise IT experience is a bonus. You will work with a diverse, global team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience providing technical support to end users on various devices, operating systems and peripherals preferred.
• Bonus if you have Experience in an Enterprise IT group.

Responsibilities

• Manages incoming request queues for service via ITSM system and resolves issues with appropriate prioritization.
• Assists with maintaining Active Directory user objects and unlocks team member accounts.
• Prepares desktops and laptops by imaging devices for deployment and tests them for proper operation; ensures VDIs interconnect with servers.
• Responds to technical issues including hardware, peripherals, operating systems and software; supports mobile devices and provides replacement equipment.
• Updates Asset Management systems with hardware and user details; assists procurement with part numbers and pricing options.
• All other duties as assigned.
