Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support our growing base of enterprise customers. Located in San Mateo, CA, you will work on Verkada's cloud-managed building security products, solving technical issues and advising customers on the platform.

This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and creating Knowledge Base content; reports to Technical Support Engineering Manager, on-site five days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Networking, CS, or related field.
• Strong Linux and networking knowledge; Python is a plus.
• Clear written and spoken communication; team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues on Verkada’s platform.
• Provide expert guidance on system design and integrations.
• Communicate complex concepts via calls, chat, and email.
• Own customer issues from start to resolution.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to validate gear and fix bugs.
• Create Knowledge Base articles to assist users.
