Travelers in the United States is seeking a Technical Specialist, Specialty Liability to manage moderate complexity injury and property damage claims from first notice through resolution. You will determine coverage, evaluate liability, establish reserves, and issue payments within authority, guiding claim reps and collaborating with counsel as needed.

You will travel as required, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement of claims practices, including leveraging AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Two years of bodily injury or property damage claim experience.
• Active adjuster license as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with claims management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and make sound judgments.

Responsabilités

• Manage an active caseload of injury/property damage claims through resolution.
• Investigate information to determine coverage and liability.
• Communicate with customers, counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources for investigations and evaluations.
• Negotiate settlements and issue payments within authority.
• Assist counsel with litigation management strategies.
• Maintain accurate claim activity records in systems.
• Adapt to technology updates and AI tool rollouts.
• Acquire required Insurance Licenses within three months.
• Travel as needed for mediations or trials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
