Job summary

Emerson in Texas seeks a technically skilled Sales Engineer to act as a liaison between the sales channel and Marketing, Sales and Engineering. You will cultivate relationships, provide technical assistance on product applicability and installation practices, and support with sizing, pricing, and margin optimization.

You will evaluate ETO/MTO solutions, deliver product training to the sales team and customers, and collaborate with multifunctional teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Function as a liaison between the sales channel and internal departments (Marketing, Sales, Engineering).
• Provide technical assistance to the sales channel concerning product applicability and installation practices.
• Support with sizing/selection, list price generation, and optimized margin.
• Evaluate engineered to order (ETO) and made to order (MTO) solutions including quotation submittal and quoted price point.
• Develop and conduct product training to the sales channel, employees, and customers.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams and promote a shared consciousness.
