Emerson Electric Co. in Texas seeks a Training Instructor to deliver technical product training to customers, our sales channel, and employees. Training will be conducted in person, via web, and in recorded video, with audits as part of the role.

You will develop and update training materials, ensure technical accuracy, and participate in curriculum development. You will maintain training equipment, grade exams, and gather information for manuals and new course creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3 years in service repair, assembly, related product sales, applications, or engineering.
• Effective communication and ability to manage multiple activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).

Responsabilités

• Conducts technical training in-person, virtual and video for customers, partners, and personnel.
• Assists with development of training materials, updating materials and proofing.
• Ensures technical accuracy of training material.
• Participates in curriculum development and improvement.
• Maintains and manages training equipment.
• Grading of exams and collection of training surveys.
• Gathers technical information for course development and manuals.
• Participates in new product development activities for instruction materials.
• Collaborates with product teams, engineering and service to maintain technical expertise on training topics.
• Performs audits on impact partners, assemblers and VR repairs.
