Job summary

Northern Trust seeks a Technical Software Support Lead for the Chicago ISS region to deliver L2/L3 support for Asset Management front-office applications and trading routes. You will guide global teams, manage incidents, and apply fixes while coordinating with business partners to ensure compliance and service quality.

The role requires 7–10 years in financial tech, strong SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux, Oracle knowledge, and a customer-focused, collaborative approach under Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in a technical role within the financial services industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with incident management, ticket workflows, escalation procedures, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support for Asset Management applications and production workflows.
• Review, analyze, and resolve production issues; apply code fixes when needed.
• Coordinate with global teams, open tickets, perform root-cause analysis, and support on-call incidents.
• Partner with business teams to ensure compliance with IT controls and service level expectations.
