Job summary

The Northern Trust Company in Chicago seeks a Senior Lead, Software Support to ensure production stability and service continuity across global platforms. You will resolve complex incidents, guide teams, and drive ITIL-aligned improvements with Operations and Business stakeholders.

Role requires extensive experience across mainframe, distributed and data platforms, ETL, SQL/Oracle, and cloud-native support, delivering reliable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in production support for financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and manage complex incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level production support for critical Accounting and Fund Administration applications.
• Investigate, analyze and resolve complex production incidents with cross-functional teams.
• Act as SME for application support, guiding technical staff and stakeholders.
• Evaluate processes and tools to improve operational resilience and efficiency.
• Oversee cross-functional activities like defect remediation and change scheduling.
• Participate in out-of-hours support for high priority production issues.
