Northern Trust is seeking a Production Support Lead to back Wealth Management applications, collaborating with application development teams to implement solutions using agile practices and to manage production incidents. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and solid cloud technology experience in a financial services context.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8+ years of production support or application development experience, with Java, databases, and DevOps exposure.

Competenze

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• 5–8+ years of application development / support experience with modern tech stacks.
• Must have prior work experience supporting business applications on Java and database technologies.
• Experience in a DevOps or SRE role is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/XP environments and SSDLC.
• Strong ability to translate business needs to technology teams and back.

Mansioni

• Lead production stability efforts and prevent production issues.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and project methodologies.
• Coordinate Change/Incident/Problem management and releases.
• Identify measures to improve stability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.
• Collaborate with business units to determine effective computer utilization.
• Direct systems projects including planning, status reporting, specs and implementation.
• Ensure audit compliance including change control and data security.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore NT partners and raise/support tickets for issues.
• Attend on-call after hours and weekends for high- or critical-priority production issues.
