Job summary

Rheem North America Division in Scottsboro, AL is hiring a Technical Services Analyst II to support plant IT operations on site.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain desktop PCs, peripherals, and manufacturing software; monitor network reliability; participate in manufacturing projects including Ethernet drops, IP addressing, and monitor setups.

This role spends most time on the plant floor (75-80%) with some time resolving PC/software issues.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, repairing, maintaining desktop/laptop computers and peripherals.
• Experience supporting plant-floor IT and manufacturing software applications.
• Ability to identify Ethernet drops, IP addressing, monitor setup for manufacturing projects.

Job description

The Technical Services Analyst IIis a manufacturing plant support position within Information Technology. This position willprovide support for desktop/laptop computers and peripherals, which includes installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrades to all hardware, software, and peripheral equipment related to plant operations, while ensuring optimal performance.This position will be responsible formonitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting network connectivity and reliability issues related to the plant. In addition, support of manufacturing projects is required and will involve identification of Ethernet drops, IP addressing, monitor setup, and assistance with Quality/ Engineering software applications.The position will spend 75%-80% of their timeon the plant floor, and 20% resolving typical PC/software/wireless issues.

This position will serve Rheem North America Division located in Scottsboro, AL (Onsite).
