Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist in Massachusetts to drive growth in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division. You will lead strategic accounts, develop sales plans, and work with cross-functional teams to close deals.

The role emphasizes technical knowledge of CDS and instrument portfolios, frequent customer engagement, and travel up to 80% in the Western and Midwestern U.S. sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in analytical/instrument markets or similar high-value accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred in science.
• Strong knowledge of chromatography data systems and lab informatics.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and prioritizes new client opportunities and sales potential for CMD product lines; coordinates actions to grow market penetration.
• Supports and guides Account Managers to uncover opportunities and strengthen revenue and loyalty.
• Develops and drives sales strategies across product lines and territories.
• Builds trusted relationships with key decision makers and aligns technical authorities as needed.
• Leads collaboration with internal teams to advance solutions from prospecting to closing.
