Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a field-based sales specialist located in the Illinois region (or surrounding states) to drive regional Chromatography sales. This role includes a company vehicle for personal use, cell phone and laptop, and requires travel up to 50%.

You will manage current accounts, identify new targets, participate in trade shows and develop plans to represent product lines while achieving growth targets and favorable margins.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Chemistry.
• Direct experience with Chromatography (LC/GC/HPLC).
• 3-5 years proven experience selling or supporting Chromatography instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Grow Sales Volume by executing a regional sales plan.
• Develop and implement business plans to improve market share and profitability.
• Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to provide solutions.
• Coordinate with regional sales team, service, product specialists and business units for excellent customer service.
