Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales to lead direct and channel activities for Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry in the Charlotte region. You will drive quarterly and annual targets, forecast accurately, and build a motivated team focused on customer loyalty and high-quality execution.

You will collaborate with technical sales, marketing, and service organizations to align portfolio offerings and accelerate market share growth while navigating a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading a team.
• Experience leading a high value territory with 8-12 reps.
• 10+ years experience Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry.
• Have good product knowledge of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry products.
• Minimum BSc degree in science-based subject.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly and annual sales plan for bookings and revenues.
• Define local strategy and tactics; ensure timely sales reporting using company tools.
• Implement all business processes for the Commercial Organization for the assigned PLs.
• Ensure execution plan setting sales activities’ metrics for Account Managers.
• Coach team members and develop individual development plans.
• Maintain high customer loyalty and resolve urgent issues quickly.
• Collaborate with Field Service and Applications Support to present a united front.
• Travel to customer locations up to 80%.
