Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) to drive revenue across Western and Midwestern markets. You will apply expertise in CDS and chromatography workflows to expand the instrument and consumables portfolio, supporting Account Managers from prospecting to closing.

The role requires 5+ years in analytical instrument sales, a science degree, travel up to 80%, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in analytical instrument market.
• Bachelor’s degree in science required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with chromatography data systems (CDS) and lab informatics software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities to grow business.
• Support Account Managers to uncover opportunities and drive revenue.
• Develop and drive sales strategies across product lines.
• Travel to customer locations up to 80% including overnight travel.
