Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry division across Western through Midwestern US. The role sales-focused, requiring deep CDS knowledge and the ability to coordinate with internal experts to close deals.

You will develop strategies, engage key accounts, and mentor colleagues while traveling frequently to customer sites and events to demonstrate solutions and grow revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years consistent track record in sales for analytical/relevant instrument market.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in science.
• Strong market knowledge and business insight in industry sectors and trends.
• Experience with chromatography data systems (CDS) and lab informatics software; familiarity with Thermo Scientific Chromeleon CDS desirable.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities and sales potential for CMD product lines.
• Support Account Managers to uncover opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Develop and execute sales strategies across product lines within territory.
• Build trusted relationships with senior decision makers and coordinate with internal experts.
• Lead and participate in knowledge-based seminars and customer workshops to promote CMD products.
