Trane Technologies invites you to join a hands-on Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand how HVAC systems and building automation solutions are designed, applied, and sold. You will gain exposure to field leadership, mentorship, and a potential graduate program after graduation.

Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program is required, with a U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship duration.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Interest in technical fields and sales engineering for buildings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months.
• Some roles may be remote; others hybrid or onsite at facilities across North America.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer visits with mentors.
• Learn the steps sales engineers take from start to finish.
• Collaborate with peers across North America to develop skills.
