Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12-week Summer internship program focused on Technical Sales. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand system design and applications for commercial and industrial buildings, while developing leadership and communication skills.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, preferably in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering, and have completed at least their sophomore

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full duration of the internship.
• Preferred fields include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before start of summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Demonstrate a passion for learning in technical fields and communicating engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Be hands-on in the steps of a sales engineering process during the internship.
• Develop ownership and focus in solution-making with daily contact with customers.
