Job summary

Trane Technologies invites applications for a hands-on Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. This 12-week program challenges you to develop technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills while gaining exposure to HVAC equipment and building management controls.

You will work alongside Sales Account Managers, learn system design and application, attend meetings with customers, and explore possibilities for a Graduate Training Program after

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work across North America with possible remote/hybrid/onsite assignments.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers to understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, service calls and customer meetings with mentors.
• Learn the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and gain hands-on experience.
• Help build relationships with customers and communicate engineering solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or Engineering
